The grand lives we lead are born out of the ashes of the old, and no matter how some may try it is impossible to truly forget what came before. We soar for ourselves yet we paint kingly sigils on our wings and sew royal crests to our coats. When the sun is set and the sweet wine flows freely, we dance and we sing of our bold new country - but in the cold sober light of the nuclear dawn, we wail for our dear dead Santagria!
